Hiya, folks. Just wanted to let you know that I've made a few additions to the site. I'm nearly ready to wade my way through the bulk of the Star Wars Expanded Universe in novel form, plus will begin through the later relaunch type entries in the Star Trek Expanded Universe novels. I've added a book category and a section for both. I should be updating them whenever I finish the respective novels. I've also added a review on Punch Out!! for the NES, which has one of the highest ratings I believe I'm ever going to give out, so be sure to check it out in the Old School video games section. I went to my first fighting game tournament over the weekend up at Denjin Arcade in Simi Valley CA (great place, btw), and even participated in part of it. The main attraction for this tournament was the Street Fighter 4 ranking battles, which will be used to help the people in charge of one of the largest fighting game tournaments in the US decide who to invite. I didn't participate in that, but there were also tournaments for Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix and Tatsunoko vs Capcom. I participated in the latter, under the name risingtied, and if anyone wants to see me get my butt kicked, you can check out the video here.

I took other videos throughout the day, and will be posting them up later. A lot of the names won't mean anything unless anyone seriously follows the fighting game scene in Southern California, but they will be entertaining to watch just the same. Check back before the week's over and i'll get to work on putting the rest up.
